I don't know if you can save it, but at least they're very cheap in supermarkets. I've bought one this year in The Range and one last year in Morrison's. Keep your eyes open for a bargain if it does succumb.

Chop it down past the damaged point - these'll regrow having been cut to the ground, usually.

it mite even be alright left as i nearly snapped mine in half and it fused back together thow bamboos idea mite be better with desease etc .
