hi guys i was wondering if i could grow other root vegies with my onions in the 4ft by 8ft bed

Yes but you wont want to plant your other roots until next spring whilst you can plant onion sets now

It is traditional to interspace rows of carrots and onions in the bed. The onions repel carrot fly and the carrots repel onion fly! No reason not to plant other roots as well.
