Good Morning

I live in a flat and share a communal garden. We have a resident in her 80's who likes to feed the birds. However I am not sure if she is feeding them the right birdfeed and hope you can put my mind at rest. She mixes bread (brown), currants, sultanas, bird seed etc. Is this correct as currently we do not have many birds in the garden and get too many pidgeons!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks.

Jane

Sounds fine - bread shouldn't be given in late spring and summer, when the fledglings are being fed, but otherwise, no problem.
