Hi, I have yet another question! This was destined for the skip. I hoped I might be able to save it. Been in a couple of days but it’s wilting sadly. I have no idea what it is? I’ll leave alone unless any of you can suggest if it can be saved. It has a large knobbly root part with smaller roots coming off it . It’s about 4ft tall. Thank you (again!)

Owdboggy thank you. I have been giving it quite a bit of water but wasn’t sure if that was correct, I’ll keep watering it now that you’ve said to. Excuse my ignorance regarding removing some of the top growth, should I cut the top off or just branches from the top part ?

I would prune every shoot back by about 2/3rds. That would stop the plant from losing water whilst it made new roots.

Owdboggy, thank you. I’ll do that tomorrow.

Could be wilt as a result of overwatering when the roots can't take up anymore water.

Meadowland thank you. I only rescued it on Saturday. It was ok when I planted it. I’m unsure now about watering as another reply says to water. I can only hope it survives!

If you think it is over wet then stop watering.

Owdboggy thank you . I don’t think it’s too wet. I’ve been watering twice a day. Plus we’ve had rain . But def not too wet. I have trimmed it today like you suggested so I’m hopeful . Thank you
