i have removed my salvias from the border (as per Gardeners World last week) to overwinter them.
I don't have windows in the shed, or a cold frame. I do have a small pvc greenhouse - will that be warm enough, should I cover them with fleece, put them in the shed with no windows, or bring them in the house?

Depends what variety of Salvia you're trying to over winter to some extent, but I'd think being kept in a pvc greenhouse would be fine, provided you remember to give a bit of ventilation from time to time, when the weather's not too cold. I'd wrap the pots with bubblewrap or fleece to insulate the roots as well.
