Can you name this plant? The name has slipped my memory. Also I have a couple of larger ones in the garden and would like to split them to fill a couple of gaps. I have done it in the past but can't remember the best time of year to do it, if indeed there is one. Thanks!

I agree - Sedum spectabile
Now might be a good time to split them, before they form flower heads.

Thanks both of you for your replies. Sorry for the late thank you but for some reason I could not get access for a while. I have lots of this all over the place and forgot it is called Seeeeeeeedum!

A man was walking down the little road past the back of my garden last summer and asked me what the plant was.
I told him "Seeeedum"
He replied in a very abrupt way "Seddddum !"
