Thanks for the answers, how do I correct a mineral deficieny? and are thes ones safe to eat?

yes they are still safe to eat. I cant remember which mineral it is lacking but add growmore type fertilizer to the soil in the spring. but grow them in a different spot. crop rotation helps prevent excessive depletion of minerals.

There are different coloured ones but I seem to remember that this is down to a mineral deficiency whilst the plant was growing.
