Could anyone Identify these plants Please , my Granddaughter picked and brought the seeds back for me from her holiday in Majorca this last summer, I have several growing and would like to know whether I should continue with them or not

Apart from watering them I haven't touched them Bampy , I will try gently stroking the leaves tomorrow ...Thanks ,I will let you know .......

She likes growing things Dawn , she has her own little border to work at and enjoys it :o)

They do look like Mimosa pudica so good call Bampy, however...the leaf stalks are expanded on some of the leaves suggesting that these are an Acacia and one that will develop when mature modified expanded leaf stalks and completely lose the pinnate foliage at the end. This divided leaf stage then is a juvenile characteristic lost as they get older. The species from Australia (of which there are many) do this. African and South American species have kept their pinnate (divided) foliage.

Thanks for your input Fractal ,I will google Acacia to see if I can find anything like these ... My greenhouse isn't very big therefore I can't keep anything that is going to be huge and isn't suitable for outside temps. I have about 10 !
