Received a fabulous Cheese plant for Christmas which has stood very proud in our lounge since. A week ago I took it
out and sat it on our south facing patio and today I find all the top leaves are burnt and going brown. Can I save my cheese plant and is it wrong to put it outside for the summer?

I have brought it in and fed it with Monestera food and within 3/4 days it has sprung back to life and the burn marks are reducing , I think you are absolutely right. Thanks so much for your encouragement.

Being in a warmer area, I grow a couple outside, but they are in bright to shady areas that get some sun. My neighbor has one that is in an east facing area. They can get really huge after a few years.

I think it will recover from its sun scorch. I’m sure it prefers to be left where it usually is indoors. Plants are adapted to their normal spot, also Monstera would not want to be in the sun. Hope I am right about this.I’m not an expert!
