This is to any GoY editors:

Please will one of you create a GoYpedia page for 'Sub-shrubs'. There are so many of them, including Lavenders, Thyme and other woody herbs, Parahebes, shrubby Salvias, even Vinca. I think it would be a good addition to the information on the site. Thanks!

Clarification needed here? Lavender Thyme etc are shrubs but because of their low growth (short/woody) are often referred to as Sub or Prostrate shrubs. So presumably shrubs such as Lavender will pop up on both Shrubs and Subshrubs pages?

Does that matter? Lavender is a sub-shrub, so are lots of commonly grown plants. They certainly need to be grouped together. It's going to happen elsewhere, such as evergreens - and variegated shrubs, as some are both, aren't they.

I was mostly concerned that such plants as Parahebes weren't classified anywhere, and now they can be. :-)))

Thats great Spritz, I wont delete them if they are on shrubs etc then Thanks

I hoped you'd be happy with that, Denise! :-)) I've already nominated three sub-shrubs. ;-)

Yes of course I am happy Spritz and I shall look forward to seeing them.
