I have black sedds from white runner beans. Why is this, and will they produce black beans next year? Is it just a question of cross pollination, since I grew them together with painted lady and scarlet?

Hi Guest, there is a runner bean called 'Black Magic' which produces black bean seeds if they are allowed to ripen.
