I planted an oak tree in the wrong place this June. It's about 7ft high and very healthy. If possible, what is the best time of the year to attempt to move.

We live in Atlanta area.

When it's dormant - so when the leaves have all fallen. You'll have quite a job moving it - but it should be possible if it's only been in the soil for a short while. Good luck, and remember to water it frequently as a new planting.
