I would like to try growing a grape vine in my greenhouse.

How easy and can I plant in a large tub or would the root need to be in the ground outside of greenhouse.

You can grow almost anything in a pot but the groung is always best. Best plant it just outside and feed it int the GH. Chose carefully which variety you want. Some can get very big. Also while they are very resistant to frost, the stems aren't. I have a seedless one called 'Flame', last winter the frost cut it down to the root. It's now recovered and shoud produce next summer......unless we have another severe winter!
