What do you think are the best early flowering annuals for use as cut flowers?

Answers

Annuals by there very nature tend not to be early flowering. Though I would suggest sweet peas make wonderful cut flowers!

I am really interested in biodynamic planting and would love to hear how you get on. I understand its very popular with French vineyards...

Just read some of the blogs... right now no gardening it is snowing :-( Overall through this growing season we've seen better crops and more resistance to bugs etc. in the moon bed. I'll be writing an article for the April edition of Grow It! on the trial.

Why not see what tulips are left in the g centre. There's still time to plant these out and you can cut the flowers for indoors. Also, any Daffs will just flower a little later if there's any of them left. As for seeds, try Ten Week Stocks, the clue's in the name!!

In May its mostly Bulbs and flowering shrubs as not many Cut annual flowers in my garden just a bit too early. I wouldnt have my Sweetpeas in flower by May but they are great once they flower as the more you cut the more you get.
