Nice Laurel hedge.
Does anyone have an idea what varity of Prunus. I'm leaving it untrimmed to see if it flowers next year, but in the meantime I wonder if the leaf shape might give a sufficient clue.

Thanks for the info, guys.
I Googled the name and got a good picture of laurocerasus. The leaf shape is identical and so is the alternation of leaf stalks on the stem and the very slight serrations on the leaf edge. So it looks like a perfect match. Thanks.

Looks like Prunus laurocerasus to me, though a closer pic of the leaves would be useful - flowers aren't much, come in about May, little upright candles with tiny white flowers on
