Coprosma shrub

Found this shrub and unfamiliar with it.Apparently evergreen new green leaves turn dark chocolate brown as they mature but no other details.Anyone familiar with it and its needs?Thanks for any help.

Thank you Spritz we have an absolute bargain basement nursery that doesnt go in to too much detail or attention on the plants but counter this with very low prices bought 2 for only £1 .60 ea.So no details other than leaves go dark brown when mature .Being near coast its cold but we dont get harsh frosts and its sheltered .Will post some pics to see if you recognise. Thanks again.

Hi BB. I have several Coprosmas. Do you know which one you've got?? I bought a new one last autumn and planted it in too exposed a place - and lost it in the first frost. They are not completely hardy and may need frost protection. I have 'Karo Red' which could be the one you have. They are lovely shrubs with glossy leaves. Do you need to know anything else?
