I have bought a purple climbing rose, just because I don't see purple roses round where I live and I thought it would look nice.
When should I plant it out?
Should I pot it up and wait until the weather is warmer, or plant it straight outside?
Any advice welcome
Thanks in advance.

And don't forget to plant it deep when you do plant it out. Final soil level a couple of inches above the graft union. Worthy

I would plant it anytime from now when the soil is not frozen or waterlogged. If the soil freezes again later, remember to re-tread around it in spring in case it has lifted a bit. Water it all summer long too.

I'd pop it in a pot until mid feb. I gather it is bare root or is it already in a pot. If it is just leave it and make sure it doesnt dry out.
