I have a small orchard which consists of apple, pear, cherry, walnut, plums and peach trees; most of which suffered last year of some form of scab or russetting. Can you advise where to go for advice or a suitable book covering spraying, pruning etc.

I suggest one of the RHS guides. I've got books on each subject, and various leaflets, which is how I learnt it. There are also videos (on Google) for specific types of fruit tree. RHS pruning and Training is a good book, but it covers all shrubs and trees. Worthy
