I was given some mini tulip bulbs and a pot to plant them in. The instructions said to plant them and keep in a cold greenhouse til March and then plant them out. Here they are. Can I leave them in the pot to flower and put them on my patio in March?

Also, make sure that that pot has drainage. If it doesn't, there's no way to keep tulips--or most other plants--in it long-term.

Thank you both. I forgot to say that I don't have a greenhouse so they are in the garage near the window.

If that pot is ceramic then it will not be frostproof, if it is plastic then OK. If ceramic then it will need to be kept at a low temperature but above freezing.

Thank you Bulbaholic. It is plastic.

Yes you can do that but then I would plant them in the garden next year if you like them and want to keep them.
