I have a box hedge which is about 3 years old and now doing very well. I cam worried because this winter it is tinged with brown and I don't remember that happening in past winters?

The Japanese Boxwood that we grow here turns brownish every winter, and greens up every spring. The color seems to be natural plant antifreeze.

Thanks for that. I hope you are right. It has taken so long to get the plants to join hands!! I would hate to lose them.
