We have a large tree several years old which was originally a cordaline plant. This winter it has been affected by the very cold weather and the leaves have now started to come out in large tufts. Does this mean the tree is dead or will it recover? Should I remove all the leaves from the tree?

Hello and welcome Jeremy. I answered an almost identical question earlier today for someone else. It's here-

Cordylines suffer when we have cold winters but often regrow with shoots from the bottom. I hope yours does too.
