Welcome to GOY Deal. Do you know which variety of apple you are growing. I take it that it is the tree which bloomed. The tree grew 4". The blooms fell off. Can you see any fruitlets where the blooms have come off. If not have you had hard frost which could have killed the blooms. Do you have an abundance of bees etc flying around carrying the pollen with them to ensure your fruit can set. Is this when you would expect your tree to bloom. Some apples need different varieties to fertilise them. Do you grow more than one apple variety or do your neighbours have any?
