Incarvillea delaveyi is a hardy herbaceous perennial with a fleshy rootstock - either plant in pots now, just under the surface of the compost, and keep in a cold frame or greenhouse and move outside when the growing season arrives, or plant straight into the ground, again, just under the surface, in early spring. Likes a sunny position.

How can I resist having a blow on this tuba!

A musical plant!

Sorry, Amba - it's spelt 'tuber'. A 'tuba' is a musical instrument. :-))

"Yuba" had me mightily puzzled. 8-?

Hey! C'mon, I haven't had to deal with this since elementary school! Amba, welcome to GoY, and Noseypotter and I both sympathise with you. I've always been extraordinarily pleased with the "delete" and "backspace", and cut and paste!

I did say 'sorry'! I hope Amba will forgive us. :-(

How do I say thanks?
