My 12 foot cordylines have really suffered this winter and this morning I've noticed that the trunk bases have a damp pinkish look to them Any ideas ...please?

Hi Carole and welcome! I'm sorry, it's bad news for your Cordyline. This question is being asked at least once a day, so at least you're not alone. Bamboo gave the definitive answer yesterday to someone with a large cordyline like yours. It's here -
