It sure is! I've had the best luck taking a hard stem about 1/2" thick and 6"-8" long, removing all the leaves, dipping the lower end in rooting hormone powder, and planting it a couple of inches deep in a mixture of equal parts potting soil and sand. This should be done in early spring, right after the last frost, with the assemblage kept outside in the shade, and keep the soil mix moist. After 3-6 weeks, new growth should sprout from the side buds. and once that is about 3" long, the cutting can be re-planted (carefully!) in its permanent spot.
