Does anyone know whether Pulcherima Diorama (Angels fishing rods) is trimmed back to base or just discoloured leaves taken out? One of my plants is getting a bit large. The other 2 not so bad. I understand they don't like to be disturbed or split.

I cut mine back in March. Never had a problem. It loves full sun.

and I only remove the faded dead leaves from mine and like wise are happy.
So either works.

Thanks to both of you. The big one will be cut back and the 2 smaller ones just tidied up.

Thanks for your reply about cutting back Angels fishing rod (January) Sarraceniac. I cut the big one well back. It has five lots of flower wands forming and much better controlled. The two smaller ones are still thinking about it.....I don't mind as I realise they could be a bit 'thuggy'. This goes to prove how useful the question answers can be longer term.
