Welcome to GoY! It depends on where you are, Growing. In areas with mild winters (USDA zone 8b or higher) I would plant it outside right away. In colder zones, plant it in a pot on a partly sunny window sill indoors, since the "bulbs" don't keep very long. Be sure to harden it off gradually before planting outside later in spring.
