we have 6 torbay palms,all losing their leaves but 2 of them are seeping pink stuff at bottom of trunk,will they die?

Cut down the ones seeping at the bottom - you can wait till spring to do this if you like, but if its really bad, do it now. They may shoot from below ground to create new plants. Leave the others alone until you can see where new growth is coming from - they may shoot up the trunks somewhere, and when they do, cut back to there.
