I have a Cordyline Torbay Red about a year ago I think it suffered from root rot, It produced 2 shoots from the base of the trunk I cut down the existing plant and left the shoots. These have now grown into 2 plants about 24 inches tall, they are in the same large container can I seperate and how to do it

« anyone know what this is happily growing in a greenhouse in local gardens????
You'll need to ascertain whether you can get a good root system on each plant, so I'd wait till March, soak the pot thoroughly, turn them out of their container and attempt to separate them with good roots on each - either that, or cut the rootball in half, leaving half each side for each plant.
