The only raking you dare do at the moment is to remove leaves! If you rake to hard now you will do more harm than good. Wait until spring arrives but don't be too vigorous this time of the year.Best to keep off if poss, as you will only compact the soft turf at the moment. If i have to stand on my lawn for any length of time this time of the year i always lay down large boards to minimize any compaction.
