I have just received Tropaeolum Speciosum from T&M

I have just received Tropaeolum Speciosum from T&M. 4 small pieces. What do I do with them please? Do I plant them in pots or do they need to be laid longwise in compost. Love to hear before they die. I would love them to grow as I had these years ago when I lived in Buckinghamshire and they were delightful.
Many thanks

Thank you Bulbaholic - I shall wait and see. I have at least planted the small bits I have received (they look more like beanshoots). Do hope they grow and like my garden.

Tropaeolum speciosum will either like your garden or hate it. If it likes the garden then you can plant it in any gritty soil beneath the shrub(s) that it is going to grow over and it will take off. If it doesn't like you then there seems to be little that can be done. I know gardens where it is an absolute weed and others where it just will not grow.
