We have two Cordyline trees in our garden but with recent winds have lost all their leaves -probably as a result of the snow and low temperatures we have experienced this winter. Will they survive or should we taken them out.

You and hundreds of other people this year, I'm afraid - inspect the trunks, if there's no sign of oozing or rotting or loads of orange gunk running out, leave them alone if you can stand to, until May or June - they may yet sprout new growth up the trunks or from below ground, and when they do, cut down to that point.
