I have some in terracota pots which I leave behind the shed and bring out again when they are growing and look lush.
Others I have in black pots and plant in the garden in the pots. If I like the position they are in I take them out the pots and plant them where they have been all summer. Only cutting the foilage off when it has died right back.

« what do i do with my pinks now they have finished flowering i have them in pots/
I leave mine in a corner in their pots and let the leaves die back, then start them off again in the spring. So far, they have all come back and flowered again!
