Some roses are described as 'short climber'. I guess it depends how happy it is! I have Sweet Juliet, described as 4ft and it regularly gets to nearly 6ft!

Many popular climbing roses are bud sports (mutations) of familiar Hybrid Teas, Floribundas, and a few Polyanthas. Examples are 'Climbing Peace', 'Climbing Angel Face', and 'Climbing Iceberg'.

I wouldn't have thought so, Tcashin, but having just looked this up in google it seems that there is both a floribunda and a climbing rose by this name.
