My Camellia plant was hit by very severe frost and snow. It lost all its leaves and all buds have dropped off. Is it possible that it can recover or should I just throw it away?

Assuming its in the ground, to add to Beattie's answer above. If it was in a pot and wasn't very big, then the outlook may not be good, but I'd still wait till April to see.

I say give it a chance Jane. You don't state where in the UK you are, and that does make a difference to the weather you've had, but Camellias are tough and it should recover.
