I have just bought a Lemon Tree which has seven lemons on it already.But the label states it is for decoration only and not consumption, does this mean that I cannot eat the lemons?

The Lemon tree has probably been sprayed with all manner of chemicals to stop fungus, insects and generally to make the tree good enough for you to buy, so the retailer is covering themselves if you get sick from eating them.
I would not eat the current lemons on the tree, but new fruit should be fine to eat.
