I spoke with my family in Australia - apparently Arum Lillies are a weeds there (Brisbane) which is sub-tropical. I assume that Sri Lanka has more tropical a climate but similar enough. I would plant it in a pot or with root protectors in case it spreads and causes damage to wildlife.
