Is this an herb,is it lavender?

Could someone tell me if this is lavender and if so how do I care for it until next spring.Do have to keep it indoors

It's not lavender. It's coprosma kirkii 'variegata', "prostrate when young, later semi-erect" but supposedly hardy. (RHS Gardeners Encyclopaedia)
