My Pyracanthus (red) has been the most colourful plant i have ever seen.. packed with berries so you couldn't see the leaves. Now in February it is covered with the dead berries am i supposed to cut these off, as they extend right back into the plant. Or just leave them to fall off.

I'm amazed that the birds didn't strip the berries off your pyracantha! Do they come off easily? I think you might as well take them off to make room for the new flowers. They might not fall off naturally, and anyway, you'd have to clear them up. ;-O
