my grass keeps getting little mud mounds of worms i think and it messing my grass up can it be stoped and if yes how thanks chris

Agree with Seaburngirl - the casts are much more noticeable in March and again in October usually, because the ground is wet and the air is cold, and they don't dry out in those conditions. Remove them with a trowel if they offend you, and place them on the borders - the casts are full of nutrients, otherwise, wait till they dry and brush them gently over the grass.

I too have this trouble and it's a horrible mess but .... it's doing good so i put up with it.

worms have to do what they have to do ....
The casts are just soil and if you let them dry and them brush them the soil will be sread about.
The wors are keeping the soil open and aerated so you dont really want to get rid of them. After a while you wont notice them [honest]
