Fractal is asking whether you mean Pelargonium geraniums (the summer ones with drumstick flowers which have to be kept inside in winter) or whether you mean proper Geranium, an outdoor perennial.

Indeed! I should have been clearer.
Just wanted to establish if they were the dark rings on Zonal Pelargoniums ("Pot Geraniums") or were something else? :-)

If they're Pelargoniums, it could be the beginning of botrytis (grey mould) so you'd have to remove the affected leaves and destroy them. In a greenhouse, the answer is to air it whenever you can - when it's mild enough to open the door for a few hours - and don't wet the leaves when you water the plants.

Could also be Geranium rust, if they are pelargoniums and they've been inside for the winter.
