Minature water garden, how small can you go?
I would love to grow some waterlilies/Lotus and im wondering if i can fill a very large ornamental pot with water and grow some dwarf var's in it...any advise or tips welcomed.

There are a number of hybrids and forms of the miniature species Nymphaea pygmaea ('Helvola' is probably the best known) that have been developed specifically for use in barrels & large pots. They're fairly widely available these days too.

I have seen very miniature varieties in a half barrel, so go for it.
