Hi
I am a bit of a novice gardener, I am re-planting my rockery this year, and would like some advice as to what plants to use, currently we have lots of colour early in the year, but nothing there after.. I want to spread the colour through the year...
Any advice would be appreciated!

And I'd add Silene to the list - such as S. uniflora 'Druitt's variegated', S. 'Flore-pleno' and S. schafta 'Abbotswood'

That is a problem common to all growers of rockery plants - the summer 'hungry gap'!
For a start, how about rockery pinks (Dianthus), small Pasque flowers (Pulsatilla, eg P. georgica) and then the summer/autumn flowering trumpet gentians, there are many named cultivars of these. Followed by autumn flowering crocus such as C. speciosus and then we are getting back into snowdrop season and it is spring again!!!!
