Japanese mock orange yellowing
By Smokeybaxter

We have planted japanese mock orange- (Greek -angeliki) as a hedge in our Greek garden but some of the shrubs are yellowing while others look fine. Is this a chemical deficiency - if so what? The soil is poor and the subsoil is limestone.

Chlorosis of lime often causes blanching in many shrubs or plants, as you are on limestone the PH is high (take a test).
You need to feed your plants adding humus to the root area, a good mulch of fertile compost, water the whole area with a solution of Sequestered iron or Epsom salts.
