Lovely looking leaves

This one looks so healthy and happy when it saw the light after I cleared all the rubbish that I can't bear to get rid of it. To know the name would be an absolute bonus and I'm fingers crossed that it won't turn out to be a villain!

Looks the same as the one you suspected of being a skunk cabbage.

You will have to wait and see if it grows taller. Could be escallonia which is a hardy hedge shrub with little flowers ( pink red or white)
If it is low and spreading I think it is a plant you may not want(weed) but give it a chance and see what it does if nothing else it is green and healthy and not harming anything!!
