Bought lots of bulbs last autumn didnt get them planted before the bad weather at the end of the year - they have been in the shed and still seem in good condition would it be ok to plant them now????

Personally, I don't think that they will do much but you might as well try. Squeeze each bulb gently in your fingers. If it seems to be firm then plant it out. It is unlikely to produce a flower this year (for spring flowering) but if they produce leaves then give them a feed with a potassium rich fertiliser and they just might flower next year.

I overlooked some Chionodoxa bulbs hanging in the shed and planted them recently and they are now the best display of Chionodoxas ever!!!. I found a plastic shopping bag too, behind the shed, and saw 2 daffodils looking back at me over the edge and some tulips in bud. Can't keep a good bulb down!!!!

Do you know what bulbs they are and when they flower?
