Madeiran mystery. I have just returned from Madeira bringing back some bulbs marked BALADONA PRECC......The end of the name is obliterated. They have pink flowers with 6 petals and I was told they grow to 18" height.Is there a common name??

Many many thanks, I have followed your lead and have traced a more popular name is "the naked Lily" . Thats what I shall call it, thanks again.

Is this a hand written tag? Is it possible that it was grown in a different country--it's not labelled in Portuguese. It sounds likely to be a Belladonna Lily, but the "Precc" might be a variety name. If so, it's one I can't find on the internet.
