I have just had a Senetti plant for mother's day which is covered in beautiful purple flowers and loads of buds. Does anyone know anything about these plants as I have never heard of them before. I believe it is an outdoor one, but can it stay out all winter! If so, that would be great; otherwise I may have to try and take cuttings. Hope someone can help.
Thanks.

Many thanks for your help. I do not have a greenhouse so I think I will have to bring it in to a cool porch for the winter.

Do I need to protect My Crinodendron Hookerianum from frost »
I discovered this plant 2yrs ago. It is wonderful. It isn't really hardy, mine have died off both times! I have seen it out doors so there might be a stronger version.
I saved some seeds from it last year so I'm waiting to see if I have any success.
When it has finished flowering cut back to about 10cms and more lovely blooms appear. [Better check that, there should be instructions on the label.] Lucky you!
