Hi Cordz and welcome to GOY. I grow my peppers in the greenhouse, do you have one ? All you need is a large plant pot, if you don't have a greenhouse i would try the window sill. regarding asparagus i haven't got a clue sorry.

Hi cords,

As tulsalady says you can grow peppers in a green house in pots and I think you might be able to grow them in a grow bag also, but mine are in pots. As for asparagrus, the only place I think you can grow that is in a proper well maintained bed, and I think I right, but you are not supposed to harvest the tips for the first year or so, it's definatly a long term project.

Happy gardening.

Asparagus will grow in a good-sized tub, but it probably won't make more than enough for a side dish or two--and that after more than 3 years.
Peppers are easier. The smaller hot peppers will produce in a 20 cm pot, and the sweet peppers, and larger hot peppers will need a pot about 25 cm deep and wide. A medium-sized window box, or trough can produce a decent crop. Expect it to take about 2-3 months from seedling to harvestable fruit.
