I have a Choisya ternata Brica that is looking very sad after the winter. The tips of the stems look as if they have been nibbled. I would be grateful for any care advice.

Unfortunately you haven't said what part of the country you're in, so its difficult to make an assessment based on weather conditions, but its possibly a result of the cold winter and late frosts and, if you're in the south, possible drought. Feed by lightly forking in some Growmore or fish blood and bone or Vitax Q4 round the base, clip back damaged growths, water if necessary.
